Air oil seperators work according to the "principle of coalescence". Micro-glass-fibre layers separate drops of oil from the compressed air and return them in large drops to the oil circuit of the compressor. The separation process is effective right down to the submicron range. This ensures that oil consumption in the compressors and oil entertainment into the compressed air networks are kept ro a minimum. Oil-vapour is not separated. Air oil separators can be used with all types of standard compressor lubricationg oils, irrespective of whether they are mineral-based, snythetic or partially synthetic products.
Lubricated rotary screw air compressors mix oil with the intake air to lubricate the compressor's screws. After the air is compressed an air oil separator, it separates compressed air from compressor oil. The compressor lubricant collects at the bottom of the separator tank and the compressed air continues to the air receiver. A standard rotary screw separator reduces the lubricant entrained in the compressed air to 2-3 ppm. Under normal operating conditions an oil separator's service life is 4,000 to 6,000 operating hours.
Purification of air we breathe carries contaminants. Airborne particles, water, microbes, and chemical gases enter compressors. At a state these contaminants become concentrated and more destructive. Only OEM quality oil separator elements can offer extremely low oil carryover combined with low pressure differentials. This means better quality air and minimal operating costs through lower oil consumption and longer service life of fine filters installed downstream.
We deal all brands of screw compressor air oil separators of atlas copco, Elgi, Keasr, Ingersollrand etc.
